As we approach September, we're thrilled to preview a series of captivating tours that will take you on spooky and historic journeys.
These last few days in August were almost a bit of a Taste of September with lower temperatures than normal in August. Almost felt a bit chilly on our last Nefarious Noblesville ghost walk!
Below Top: Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville - the fence took a big hit from the flooding and debris in the White River, but it kept the worst out and only a handful of markers were damaged thankfully! Bottom: Lacy Arts Building getting ready to see renovation activity again soon!
This September we are offering FOUR ghost walks - all on Saturdays and we will also participate in a new event! Read on to find out!
Unsolved Murder & Hauntings & History
We will start off September 5th with our Massachusetts Avenue area Chilling Chatham Arch Lockerbie Ghost Walk! Join us in front of the Athenaeum building (also home to the Rathskeller) and explore the fascinating stories from 1800s and 1900s Indianapolis which was so very different from today!
Hamilton County Nefarious!
On September 12th we will return to our popular Noblesville ghost walk. We explore haunted buildings around the square and beyond, stories from prominent shop owners, criminals, murderers, women of negotiable affections and also head towards above mentioned Riverside Cemetery.
MADISON COUNTY HAUNTINGS!
On September 19th you are in for a special treat! We are returning to where it all began for our founder and creative force behind our 25+ year old endeavor - Nicole's hometown of Anderson! We visit her old haunts in the revitalized Downtown and go way back to the Native American roots in the very haunted area!
October & Halloween Ghost Walks scheduled!
We of course have our October schedule up (well, mostly, there might be an addition or change here and there) so if you are waiting for October, feel free to book early to avoid sold out tours happening to your and your group!
ALMOST FORGOT: New Event on September 26th!
We are participating in the Hamilton County Historical Society Homecoming event on Saturday September 26th from Noon to 3 PM! It is in honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Old Jail and Sheriffs residence that was opened in 1876!!!!!
We will be in the Local Authors area from Noon to 2 PM but more things are there to do, including a play area of vintage games and story telling including about the Old Jail and Sheriffs Residence with former residents encouraged to tell stories!
